Acne And Depression.

Wednesday, June 11th, 2008

The strange thing is that, in all this time, no one had ever told me about the roll of nutrition in both causing and preventing acne problems. Fortunately, I had a friend whos mother was a nutritionist. Almost overnight when she was thirteen, she developed terrible acne even worse than mine. Then, a week later, as if by magic, it was almost completely gone. I asked her what was her secret, and she told me it was as simple as avoiding greasy foods, and eating lots of fresh fruits and vegetables. I was skeptical at first, but I figured it was workth trying.

Microdermabrasion Results

Friday, May 16th, 2008

Microdermabrasion is a safe skin treatment especially for acne scars, reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, treating acne, scarring, reducing sun and age spots, and improving pore size but fine lines under the eyes are very hard to treat.

Microdermabrasion is a good way to improve the freshness of skin and remove dead skin cells, but for deeper wrinkles or scarring, it has limitations. Microdermabrasion leaves your skin smooth and clean with slight temporary redness. Blackheads are loosened, white heads may empty, dark sunspots lighten, acne scars, enlarged pores and fine wrinkles become less prominent.

Microdermabrasion sessions can be scheduled be performed on a regular basis to maintain good results. Microdermabrasion addresses skin irregularities, but is not effective against all complexion problems including redness, flushing and broken capillaries. Microdermabrasion uses tiny crystals of aluminum oxide to gently remove tissues from the deeper layers of skin.

Black Skin Care

An article about black skin care.

When I think of black skin care, I tend to think more on the male side. This is what I’m used to and have been exposed to through friends. Probably the largest issue that comes to mind regarding black skin care in my opinion is shaving. I had no idea it was so tough for black men to grapple with the daily scruff. However, I soon learned otherwise. In college I noticed that a couple of my closest friends had terrible razor bumps. I didn’t really know why this was.

How Herbal Acne Solution Products Can Be More Beneficial

Sunday, March 2nd, 2008

Only a few users are aware of the contents in the acne skin care treatment products. I won’t be surprised if you have not used them correctly.

You may one of those who are using natural skin care products for acne treatment. Yet how do you single out which product is natural? People have distinct version when they try to define the meaning of natural. Unfortunately, the manufacturers have misinterpreted this meaning.

I think natural is when you use the plant directly. Usually the plants undergo some processing first before they become the main compounds for the skin care treatment products. The result will be better if you try to use the plant on the acne. In other words, you will get more key compounds if the processing of the plants is minimized.

Unfortunately, many products for skin care contains fragrance, preservatives, chemicals, and coloring. Hence, if the product use more synthetic materials, then the risk of side effects will increase.

Before you purchase acne skin care treatment products, make sure you read the labels so that you know what they contains. It is a norm that smaller skin care manufacturers are likely to use more organic compounds than their larger counterparts. Use the web to research the products. Patronize the forums and authorities’ web blogs to get to know what the customers or professionals say about the various additives. With World Wide Web, you stay up to date on the latest reports and observation in acne medication. Always take note of the authority of the website you’re using. The information on the Internet can be biased.

Not everyone will be interested in using organic skin care products because they usually cost more. But you need to understand that they don’t usually irritate your skin. Irritation of the skin oftentimes happen when you apply acne skin care and treatment products that comes with man-made ingredients. Some even mix with carcinogenic additives. Therefore, their ingredients are always questionable.

One thing you may not know that antifreeze is a common ingredient in personal care products. Propylene glycol is frequently used by beauty producers in many deodorants and make up including facial cleansers. The manufacturers claim that it is safer and less lethal in comparison to ethylene glycol. But, when the chemical enters your body, you are compromising your immune and nervous system.

As many of you already know the fight against acne is an ongoing thing and for me using a natural product gave me so much more confidence. One of the biggest reasons I use Revitol Acnezine is because it contains 100% natural herbs and antioxidants. It can help you to solve your acne problems by dealing at the root of the problem. It is a blend of several vitamins and minerals which enhances the body’s natural ability to fight acne formation.

Essential Oils Using A Synergistic Blend Can Often Be More Effective

Wednesday, October 17th, 2007

Sometimes it is better to use a synergistic blend of essential oils to relieve your symptoms rather than use a single essential oil. Some of these synergistic oils include Blue Tansy, Spikenard, Rosemary and Lemongrass. In its basic form, it is a concentrated hydrophobic liquid that contains aroma compounds derived from plants. The word essential is used to indicate that oils have a scent (essence) that sets it apart even if such scent is not very important, or a fundamental matter.Essential oils are not known as a group to have any specific chemical properties that are common to the group other than the fragrance. To make them, use is made of distillation as well as solvent extraction. Essential oils are often used in perfumes as well as cosmetics, and also to add flavor to foods and drinks as well as for giving incenses more scents as too are used in cleaning products used in homes.
