Ragweed Pollen Allergy
Monday, March 29th, 2010The cause of Ragweed Pollen Allergy is the plant known as the Ragweed. Every year each of these notorious plants develop in excess of a billion grains of pollen. The grains are released very easily for example when the plant is touched or the wind blows.
Anybody susceptible to the allergy that comes in direct contact with the plant and it’s pollen will suffer the symptoms to a severe degree. That is not to say that those who don’t ever come into contact are in any way safe. The grains of pollen can be carried for many miles by the wind and when airborne can travel for hours on end and it is an unfortunate fact that nobody in America or most other northern hemisphere countries where the plant is found, is likely to avoid coming into some contact with the pollen!
