Anyone Living to 100 Years of age in the UK will get a personal birthday card from her majesty Queen Elizabeth II. They also get a card for every year they are alive thereafter. Once upon a time, this was a rare happening and was not something that the House or Windsor had to take much time is arranging. Nowadays however, Living to be 100 years old is becoming far more common, especially in women. It is reckoned that in just a generation from now, almost everyone will know someone personally who reaches that milestone of life.

So why are we living so long in the twenty-first century? After all, we’re constantly being told by the media and medical profession that today’s modern family is unfit, unhealthy, and dangerously overweight, meaning our diet and exercise is not what it should be! Not only that, but the number of men and women doing manual work, that’s work which requires a lot of physical activity, is becoming less and less with each technological advancement. Most of the physical jobs these days are done by robots, and supervised by computers. Education is also on the increase as students prepare for white collar positions at desks. The number of people sitting down all day every day is on the rise, yet still we are living longer. There bad news is this: Yes we’re living longer, but we’re also sicker for longer. And yes, most of us are not as fit and healthy as we could be, and that draws the conclusion tht modern day man is being kept alive by medicine, and not because he has educated himself on preserving his mind and body through natural methods.
