Secrets to the healthy way to lose weight

Tuesday, January 6th, 2009

We all know that, there are some legitimate reasons. All you need to do is make your own list of reasons you are going to torture yourself with a strict diet. You need that daily incentive, just to keep you honest with yourself. Your list should include as many good weight loss motivational ideas as you can come up with and you don’t want to hurry through this process!

Remember, one of the characteristics of a healthy way to lose weight program is that change in your eating habits. A good way to begin is to eat small, but frequent mini-meals. This gives your stomach a chance to adjust to reduced intake. Have a fruit smoothie made with low-fat milk or yogurt. This will fill you up without loading on the calories. If you have five small meals of healthy, filling foods, you’ll completely fake out your stomach.

Thank you for taking the time to read this information on breast cancer symptoms. This is a good way to improve your background and overall understanding of this tragic topic. By the time his mother sought medical attention for her condition, she was in the late stages of the disease.

Hypnosis Audio Programs for Self Help

Monday, December 15th, 2008

One big mistake people make with hypnosis and many other things is they try it and if it didn’t work then they dismiss it completely. I have had many people use my hypnosis audio CDs and said how glad they were that they did because what the4y used in the past just didn’t work or they were uncomfortable with it for whatever reasons, recording quality, the hypnotist’s style or voice, etc.

When it comes to behavior change there is no better help than using hypnosis audio. This can be in the form of CD, digital download and some people still have cassette tapes. Either way, you get the same information but with different audio quality. When you apply this process when attempting any type of change the results may amaze you. People are always surprised at how well they can do using hypnosis audio.

Over the last few years, many Hypnosis Audio programs have been developed and are for sale online. It’s important to be cautious because all are not produced the same. Please visit our site for more details.

Losing Weight and Hypnosis: A Solid Combination

Thursday, December 11th, 2008

Hypnosis is a very powerful process when it comes to creating or guiding behavior change. It is anyone’s best interest to be sure they seek out quality, qualified and experienced training. As a NGH Certified Instructor and NGH Certified Instructor Coach I have high standards when it comes to people being trained in hypnosis learning this skill and craft.

If there was ever a winning combination it’s self hypnosis and weight loss. It’s no secret the reason why people don’t lose weight when they try to is because they can’t maintain healthy behaviors. We’ll do what we have to long enough, sometimes, to reach the goal but then what happens? The old behavior kicks back in and all that progress and achievement is over and gone. The way to prevent that is with self hypnosis and weight loss.

Several Ways to Safely Improve Blood Circulation

Friday, December 5th, 2008

There are some ways to improve your circulation that doesn’t require physical activity.In addition to exercise, there are various herbal remedies, such as ginkgo biloba, that is touted to have the ability to not only improve blood circulation to the brain and extremities, but to increase sharpness of the mind as well in relation to all ages. Cayenne, ginger, and garlic are also good defenses, and according to one source, a tincture made from these ingredients is easily absorbed by the body, and helps reduce cholesterol in the bloodstream and major arteries by cleansing the blood. Hawthorne berries and rosemary both regulate and stabilize blood pressure. As you can see, it is possible to improve poor blood circulation without surgery or drugs. And ask your doctor if these natural remedies are suitable for you.

However, three of the B vitamins, such as cholin, inositol and vitamin B6 are instrumental in regulating blood cholesterol. Deficiencies of these vitamins are correlated with an increase in blood cholesterol levels and atherosclerosis. Sufficient amounts of these important vitamins are necessary for improved circulation and healthy vessels. In early of 1950’s, a study shown that 600 of heart patients demonstrated that diets adequate in these vitamins reduced the incidence of heart attacks, cholesterol levels and medication requirements, such as digitalis and nitroglycerin. Patients reported less shortness of breath and more energy.

Tips for Getting Pregnant While Breastfeeding

Monday, December 1st, 2008

There are some things you can try to aid in getting pregnant while breastfeeding. These are geared toward older babies and toddlers. Very young infants rely solely on breast milk for nutrition and it should not be limited in any way. If the baby is of an appropriate age, it may be advantageous to introduce more solid foods into the baby’s diet to supplement your mild supply. In this way the levels of prolactin will decrease along with the breast milk supply potentially increasing the odds of pregnancy. Timing could be everything in this situation and stretching out the time in between feedings during the day and night may be helpful.

Once menstruation begins again, regularly charting your ovulation cycle may assist in getting pregnant while breastfeeding. There are charts, kits, and calendars all designed to help designate the correct days for conception. Understand though that ovulation can be unpredictable especially for a breastfeeding mom.

Creating your family, as you and your partner want it to be is important, but be patient during the process of getting pregnant while breastfeeding. All good things come in time.

Misleading Signs of Pregnancy

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

Another well known sign of pregnancy is unusual food cravings. This usually occurs in the first trimester of pregnancy and is thought to be caused by hormone changes. In cases of no pregnancy food cravings may be a sign of poor nutrition, early signs of impending menstruation, or a stress coping mechanism.

Osteoporosis And Menopause

Sunday, November 23rd, 2008

Osteoporosis is simply bone loss. It is inherent in aging for both men and women, although women are more susceptible to it.
Because a woman’s bone density is less than that of a man, this allows more time for the bone to age.

The loss of bone mass begins approximately at age 40. After menopause, there is an acceleration of five to seven years at which point it returns to its normal age-related rate.

The most effective way to maintain the strength of your bones requires a combination of lifestyle changes and dietary measures, such as:

  • Discontinue smoking;
  • Ensure you are following a nutritional diet, with sufficient calcium amounts and included supplements of vitamin D in your dietary regimen;
  • Make-sport with 30 minutes exercise a day, three or four days a week.

Menopause: A Life Change

Thursday, November 20th, 2008

Someone should come up with a better term for menopause other than referring to it as the change. Men go through it, yet they are not labeled as such; but that’s another topic for another article. Suddenly, the Harry Chapin song seems appropriate, All my life’s a circle; sunrise to sundown. Maybe menopause should be redefined as part of the circle of life.

Woman change every day; one thing has nothing to do with the other. Yes, children grow up, parents become old, and decisions are made which alter one’s course in life; but that is the point. Changes are made based upon our needs.
